Carnyx & Co is actively seeking funding to initiate a variety of musical, educational, and archaeological projects. These include:

Carnyx Brass
Carnyx Brass: Paul Archibald (trumpet) Etienne Cutajar (horn) and John Kenny (trombone & carnyx). The trio is the purest of all brass ensembles, demanding clarity and virtuosity of the players at all times. There is nowhere to hide, for performer or composer. Carnyx Brass explores the fine existing repertoire and actively commission new work.

Das A und Das O is John Kenny’s 90 minute setting of the Book of Revelation, in a new translation by the German poet Walter Jens. Scored for one trombonist playing alto, tenor, and bass trombones plus sackbut & percussion, organist, and narrator.

Locking Horns
Locking Horns: Etienne Rolin (flutes, clarinets, saxophones) and John Kenny (trombones, recorders, bronze age horns) have worked together since 1986 composing, improvising, and recording over 30 works, hundreds of performances, film and CD recordings. The sound of the 4 meter high carnyx and saxophone together has to be heard to be believed!
